The China National Intellectual Property Administration, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty of France and the French Origin and Quality Administration renewed the “Protocol on Cooperation in Geographical Indications of Agriculture and Food between the China National Intellectual Property Administration of the People’s Republic of China, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty of the French Republic and the National Origin and Quality Administration of the French Republic”. Both China and France agree to further deepen cooperation in the field of geographical indications and jointly promote cooperation to achieve more results.

In the joint statement between China and France on agricultural exchange and cooperation, both sides explicitly welcome the strengthening of cooperation through the renewal of the Geographical Indication Cooperation Protocol.
